When one of our e-commerce clients unexpectedly received significantly more orders than planned, they quickly fell behind in their order processing. We were brought in to support them with quality assurance, packing, and shipping of their product, all according to their internal procedures and quality standers.
The assignment included:
- Quality control of each product based on the client’s guidelines prior to packing
- Documentation of products that did not meet quality standards
- Secure and efficient packing of each order
- Shipment of packages to end customers using the agreed shipping solution
- Daily handling of new incoming orders before 12:00 PM, with same-day dispatch
At the start, the client had a backlog of approximately 300 orders. After helping clear the backlog, we continued to handle all new incoming orders until the inventory was depleted. In total, we packed and shipped over 1,000 orders during the course of the project.
