We received a large-scale assignment involving 72,000 packages with yarn that arrived with severe water damage. The packaging had collapsed inside the container due to excessive moisture, and many boxes were also affected by mold growth.

With strong focus on sustainable handling of water-damaged goods, we took responsibility for salvaging as much as possible through a carefully execute process:

• Mould remediation – All contaminated packaging was treated using ozone treatment. Post-treatment mold testing showed no signs of mold presence.
• Yarn inspection – Each individual yarn package was visually inspected to ensure it was free from damage and unaffected by mold.
• Repackaging – We repackaged all of the yarn into fresh, clean packaging.
• Pallet stabilization – We ensured all packages were able to be stacked securely for safe transportation.
